Rudy and the Song of the Fire Dragon

The Shadow Over the Village

Many moons had passed since little Rudy the fox found the Treasure of Starlight.
Life in the forest village was peaceful—animals played, and the flowers glowed with a soft, gentle light.

But one day the sky grew dark, and a deep roar rolled over the village.
From the clouds descended a dragon with eyes of fire. He spread his great wings over the woods and thundered,
“I will return in three days. Give me all your light, or I will burn your home!”

The animals gathered, trembling with fear.
“What shall we do?” sighed Rudy’s mother.
Rudy stood tall and said,
“I’ll go and talk to the dragon. I have to save our home!”
