The Missing Ball

The playground was bursting with fun!
The boys were kicking a ball back and forth, trying to see who could give it the hardest whack.

Johnny took a running start, swung his leg—boom!—and the ball shot up into the sky like a rocket.

It soared higher and higher, flew right over the fence… and disappeared.

“Hey! It’s gone!” the kids shouted. “Where do we look now?”
